Fourth meeting of the Pontyclun Residents’ Town Centre Working group:  7^th September 2011

Action Points

Meeting with RTCT Planners

Rachel, Ann, Paul, Marg and Claire are to attend meeting with RCT planners on Tuesday 13^th September

Letter

Paul to send letter to Community Council

Paul to rewrite the letter and submit to the Diary and the Pontypridd Observer

Meeting with Mick Antoniw, AM for Pontypridd

Marg is to confirm that the group would like to meet on 14^th September to meet with Mick Antoniw.

Meeting with Valad

Marg to contact Mark Jackson to try to arrange meetings

Questionnaire

We will continue to distribute the questionnaire to shops in Pontyclun.

Len and Marg to distribute in Pontyclun on Saturday morning 10.30 for an hour

Rachel is taking responsibility for analysis of the questionnaire and has arranged for a programme to be developed to analyse the questionnaires.

Email List

Len is to produce the email list of interested residents

Notes of the Meeting

Len will distribute the notes of the meeting to all those at the public meeting who provided an email address

Public Meeting

The next public meeting is on 4^th October

Marg to invite Mick Antoniw

Marg to organise poster and distribution

Pontyclun Labour Party to pay for hire of hall and printing of posters.

RCT Open Mic meeting

RCT are holding their cabinet meeting in Pontyclun on Monday 26^th September. Prior to the meeting they will hold an open Mic session so that members of the public can ask questions of concern or interest. We think this is an opportunity for members of the community to ask question about the town centre plan.

Next Meeting of working group

The group will meet again Wednesday 14th September to meet Mick Antoniw
